Here is a (bad) screengrab of an article that appears to be discussing Shark coming to Venezuela.  Can someone translate?

Quotes from Hipismonet's Twitter:

Quote

Poor SHARK! This is what it translates to...translated after the first part that says in a phone conversation with the DR.>>>

informed us that the stallion's death occurred in mid-flight due to a crisis of disobedience that led to stop and hand out toward atria weight falling on his own deathblow. also became known that he was the only thoroughbred who came on board in the avian

and from their twitter --
SHARK died in a crash in full flight to Caracas because it was fatally hit by falling after a fit of waywardness.
SHARK The stallion was sacrificed to arrive in Venezuela due to problems with the landing.

My guess is that either the plane had a rough landing or turbulence or Shark was having a fit on the plane...sounds like he fell and broke his legs maybe with his own weight and had to be put down??

This is terrible. Apparently there is a risk that unruly horses may be euthanized on planes if they cannot be controled or tranquilzed. I've heard that a horse loose horse can actually kick a hole in the fuselage and cause mid-flight crisis. Maybe the horse got really out of control, and either injured himself or was euthanized to protect the other passengers on the plane. Either way, it's awful. His last few hours were probably awful.

Yeah, it looked bad. He broke down right at or maybe just after the wire, which to me is always the most heartbreaking. I was watching the simo so I couldn't see how it happened, but it looked like the right front cannon snapped and he went head over heels. It wasn't pretty. RIP. Sad
