Yeah, I don't care about Kansas, but I strongly dislike YUK.

I woke up this morning thinking the loss was just an April Fool's joke. But no, it happened, and now I'm depressed. The atmosphere on campus was so upbeat yesterday, it was great. But they made mistakes, and if I'm going to be honest I have to say they deserved to lose.  Sad

Huskies lost in overtime Sad. For a rebuilding year they did an awesome job. Congrats to the Irish.

Geno can focus on now weather Brittney is deserving of that final spot for the US team.

There is no joy in Mudville (also known as Huskyland).  They clawed their way back to have a two point lead with seconds left in regulation, omly to have someone miss a box out assignment - or perhaps more fairly, only to have a really talented Notre Dame player slip through the box out to put back a rebound with .04 left to force overtime.  After that, they were flat in overtime.

On the bright side, Geno did a fantastic job with a very young team, teaching them to play themselves rather than waiting for Maya Moore to win the game for them.  Only one senior on this team, and some very talented recruits coming in.  They learned a lot from this loss and will be back.

I don't see Notre Dame beating Baylor in the National Championship game - Baylor looks to be just too formidable.

Brittney is remaining in school which could make the 2013 WNBA draft the best ever (Her, Elena and Skylar Diggins should be the first three picks, in what order is to be determinded).
