Figured his "cardiac event" that resulted in his pensioning would amount to this sooner rather than later. At least he went out still being him, and at a good old age.

Can't believe he lived as long as he did, with the two huge holes in the heart. Very surprising, just shows his toughness.

An aortic rupture is what killed Hickstead. It's amazing this guy was still walking around, let alone enjoying turnout. He did it his way from start to finish.  RIP, old man.
